I concur with the view that a business is like a 'unified machine' that functions with different 'cogs' performing different tasks and operating in tandem to achieve a common goal. And, I am thankful to have gotten ample opportunities to hold diverse profiles of roles & responsibilities that gave me access to 'where the action was'. My experience of successfully operating in large enterprises, mid-sized companies and innovative start-ups gives me the critical understanding of business from a heterogeneous perspective.

Remote learning infrastructure with patented proprietary cloud based technology platform
This project was part of a large initiative to create a remote learning infrastructure in India to train local health workers. It was implemented across multiple locations. Due to the complexities involved the project was carried out in two parts integrating several hardware & software components. The project was implemented in collaboration with an international healthcare non-profit and a technology conglomerate.

Cloud based custom enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution
This project involved building a cloud based ERP solution for a chain of veterinary hospitals. The project was so successful that it garnered a lot of customer attention and requests. Following this, the solution was made into a full-fledged portfolio of products including a robust ERP & and an Inventory Management System with state-of-the-art features & functionalities. Eventually the right to sell this product was obtained by a subsidiary in Singapore.

E-Commerce Platform for Online Grocery Orders and Delivery
This project involved building an eCommerce platform for a Retail company. This platform was built with all the state-of-the-art features and functionalities. This platform was built to receive over 50,000 independent orders monthly with 10,000 unique visitors every month. Ease of use and hassle-free maintenance was on top of the requirement list for this product/project.

Web-based fabric design platform with unique pattern layering & composition capability
This project involved developing a unique web-based product for a textile cum fabric design company. The idea was to build a comprehensive platform that can effectively compose a complicated design by layering individual abstract patterns & elements. The application had in-built user identity & login control management to avoid any human error since these designs were extremely unique and complex to generate and no two designs looked the same it was important to secure them. This was a mission specific product built with custom & scalable features and functionalities.

Web Based eCommerce Portal for Travel and Hotel Booking
This project involved developing a comprehensive e-commerce travel & hotel booking portal. The front-end was a simple clean design with easy to follow workflow for booking travel and hotel reservations especially for custom short stays. The back end involved a detailed dashboard design with a deep recommendation engine, price estimation, travel planning and invoicing functionalities. With multi-layered user access, the administrator had full control to make modifications to the listings and could generate a custom report and an audit trail to ascertain any anomalies.

This project involved developing a one-of-a-kind teacher recruitment platform for schools and teachers alike from Primary to K-12. The platform had several breakthrough technological features and functionalities as first-of-its-kind in the segment. From location based job search to job recommendation and from video resume to Application tracking, this portal had it all. The platform drew great attention from the industry getting acknowledged by the thought leaders in the education industry.

This project involved development, installation & integration of robust smart class infrastructure for schools. The overall solution had several challenging variables especially from the physical infrastructure and system integration perspective. The project required digitization and recreation of media and content to suit the target audience.

Comprehensive Personalizer Platform with Cost Estimation and Service Curation Capabilities
This project was commissioned for a home automation company to ensure that their clients are able to get personalized offerings involving product recommendations (run by a robust recommendation engine), project completion estimates, cost estimates, and service plan details. This application was aimed at assessing the customer’s need and help them make a purchase decision by personalizing the broad array of offerings and then help them track their projects as well. The platform/application had to be multi-device compatible and eventually was launched as a mobile device application.

AI/ML Based Personal Investment Recommendation Engine
This was an interesting project undertaken in collaboration with an early-stage start-up. At the core of this product was a AI/ML based proprietary algorithm that tracked, monitored, analyzed an individual's spending pattern. Based on the pattern the algorithm then recommended viable investment avenues. The individual could then choose to proceed with the investment. The second iteration of the Beta version had an added automation algorithm that supersedes the investment routine upon user confirmation.
